At Dr. In Vitolo’s practice, a traditional neck lift is performed in HIS state-of-the-art facilities and using cutting-edge technology. Dr. Vitolo’s board certified anesthesiologist will administer a general anesthetic. Depending on the type of surgery to be performed the surgery usually takes between one to three hours. By doing so, Dr. Vitolo will reshape your neck, repair neck muscles, and design a more defined, smoother, and more youthful contour for your neck.

The recovery time after a neck lift varies from patient to patient, but most of Dr. Vitolo’s clients can expect a rapid return to normal within a few days to a week or so.

Types of Neck Lift

Sling Neck Lift

A Sling neck lift is an extremely efficient alternative to traditional neck lifts. However, unlike these procedures, Sling neck lifts are minimally invasive treatments that don’t involve  LONG INcisions or extensive scarring. 

During a Sling neck lift, Dr. Vitolo will perform two small incisions, one behind each ear. He will then pass an extremely fine suture in a tunnel created under the neck, the extremities of which are secured to the strong tissue behind the ears. Sling neck lifts are extremely long-lasting and efficiently deliver a clean neck contour.

Recovery From the Sling Neck Lift 

In this new minimally invasive neck lift procedure, Dr. Vitolo does not remove any skin to tighten the neck. Rather, the surgery focuses on removing the excess fat that may create the looks of jowls or a double chin using liposculpture.

If you have good skin laxity but want to treat the appearance of jowls, the Sling Neck Lift may be the best choice for you. You’ll only need to wear a compression garment for two to three days after the surgery; after this time, you can return to your normal activities.
