How Long Will My Liposuction Recovery Last?

While traditional liposuction surgery may require downtime of one to two weeks, Dr. Vitolo takes a completely different approach.

Instead of manually breaking up fat tissue with a cannula – which can create excess bruising, bleeding, and swelling – Dr. Vitolo uses an innovative liposuction technique known as External Ultrasonic Assisted Liposculpture.

Liposculpture uses ultrasound energy to break up and liquify fat tissue in the treatment area before liposuction surgery begins. This means there’s less manual breaking up of the fat tissue, leading to a significant reduction in swelling and bruising.

As a result of Dr. Vitolo’s world-class techniques, patients only need to take two to three days off before they’re able to return back to work.
