Facelift VS Liquid Facelift: Which is Right for Me?

A facelift offers a surgical option for removing that excess skin and undoing deep lines and wrinkles for people with loose, sagging facial skin. However, not everyone wants to undergo facelift surgery yet. Some people may not want the expense or the recovery time, while others just may not feel that they need it yet. A liquid facelift may make an excellent option for these people by providing lifted and fuller results without surgery or recovery.

What is a Facelift?

After decades of training and experience , Dr. Vitolo performs facelifts with his curated minimal scarring technique that produces natural-looking results. A traditional facelift often focuses on the lower face and jaw, lifting the skin, removing excess skin, and smoothing out lines and wrinkles from incisions in front and behind the ears and hairline.

Dr. Vitolo may recommend the Scar Less endoscopic brow and facelift, which are performed through tiny incisions with nearly nonexistent scars. The Scar Less endoscopic facelift has less bruising and recovery time than a traditional facelift. it produces a softer and more natural looking rejuvenation , that often turns back the clock by ten years or so,

What is a Liquid Facelift?

liquid facelift uses hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to add volume and lift to skin that has lost fullness and support over time. Instead of pulling loose skin tighter like a facelift, this technique plumps and fills in sagging or loose areas of skin or underneath lines and wrinkles.

Facelift VS Liquid Facelift: Which is Right for Me?

Should you consider a facelift or a liquid facelift? You should consult with Dr. Vitolo before you come to any decisions, but you may wish to consider these points.

A facelift requires surgery under general anesthesia and will downtime. It usually takes a week or so to see the initial results to see your full results as the swelling goes down. With a liquid facelift, people experience no downtime and require no anesthesia. Results are visible immediately.

A traditional facelift may last for many years, although it may change somewhat as you age. A liquid facelift will last up to two years, depending on the types of fillers used to add fullness to the face. Without maintenance, a liquid facelift will return to its original state after the fillers wear off.

Results of a liquid facelift look less dramatic and visible than a standard surgical facelift. A liquid facelift cannot lift sagging skin the same way a surgical facelift can, although Dr. Vitolo achieves amazing results.

Recovery and Results

Non-surgical liquid facelifts will never achieve the same results as surgical facelifts. However, a liquid facelift makes an excellent option for people who do not want a surgical facelift or want to test out what results might look like before committing to a surgical procedure.

Recovery from a standard facelift performed by Dr. Vitolo lasts ten to twelve days. Recovery from a liquid facelift takes no time at all, and people return to normal activities immediately. If avoiding those days of recovery time is a priority, a liquid facelift offers a no-downtime option.

“It has been one year since I made the decision to have liposuction. From beginning to end Dr. Vitolo and his staff were accommodating and professional. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. I was thinking about the procedure for awhile but after talking with Dr. Vitolo, the decision was easy. I’m an active health conscious person, but was unable to get the results I wanted with just diet and exercise. Dr. Vitolo shaped my torso and I’m very happy with results. Recovery was as expected! I think it’s important for people to know that for the best results, you really need to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.” *
