What is a Scar Less Breast Lift?

How is a Scar Less Breast Lift Performed?

Dr. Vitolo begins a Scar Less breast lift by making a small incision inside your belly button. He will create two channels in a “V” shape under the skin, one leading to each breast. He uses a tube-shaped instrument that passes through the fat layer underneath the skin, never approaching the inside of your abdomen. He will use a laparoscope to visualize the tunnels and the natural breast anatomy. 

An empty sizer is rolled up, inserted into each breast, and filled with saline. Dr. Vitolo can customize the amount of saline to compensate for minor breast asymmetry, which many women have. After filling these to the desired volume, Dr. Vitolo will remove them and replace them with self-sealing, long-lasting saline implants. These are filled to the predetermined volume, and the tube used to fill them is removed. 

What is Recovery Like From a Scar Less Breast Lift?

If you had a traditional breast lift, you could expect several weeks of recovery before going back to normal activities. After a Scar Less breast lift, you can go back to work in one to two days. You will only have one small incision with self-dissolving sutures. The TUBA procedure causes minimal trauma to the breasts, so you will not have the pain or bruising that often accompanies a standard breast lift. 

Am I a Candidate for a Scar Less Breast Lift?

If you feel unhappy with your breasts due to sagging or lack of volume, you might be a good candidate for a Scar Less breast lift. You might be an ideal candidate if you have no major health problems and reasonable expectations about your results.
