How Often Should You Get Botox® Treatments?

How long Botox® lasts varies from person to person. Dr. Vitolo typically sees his patients’ results last for four to five months. For people new to Botox®, effects may fade faster, while for regular users of Botox®, the results can last up to six months. Dr. Vitolo will develop a Botox® schedule to keep you looking smooth and youthful. 

How Long Does it Take to See Botox® Results?

Dr. Vitolo specializes in a natural-looking, youthful result from Botox® that never looks overdone or fake. After your injections, you will usually see results within three to five days. Your results may continue to develop for another few days after this. The active ingredient in Botox® takes a few days to reach and block signals from the facial nerves. 

Is There Any Downtime With Botox®?

Your Botox® treatment will take about 15 minutes, and you can return to your usual activities immediately. You may notice some sensitivity, redness, or bruising in the injection area. You can expect these to fade within a day or two. 

Am I a Good Candidate for Botox®?

Botox® is FDA-approved and has many medical and aesthetic uses. Most people make good Botox® candidates, especially if they are in good overall health. You should not have Botox® if you have had an adverse reaction to a similar treatment or if you have certain medical conditions.
