Is There Any Downtime With a Lip Augmentation?

Dermal filler injections take fifteen to twenty minutes, and you can return to work or other activities right away. After having silicone lip implants, you can usually return to work within a few days. You may have some minor bruising after dermal filler injections, and after implants, you may have some soreness and swelling. 

What Results Will I See With a Lip Augmentation?

Both methods will give you full, plump lips. Dermal filler results become evident within a few days and last about six months. The results of your silicone implants will become visible a week or two after the procedure when the swelling has subsided.
